| Built in 1829, this historic building has wood carvings of songs and poems written by Robert Burns himself. Spacious en suite rooms are simply styled with traditional decor. All rooms have the modern comforts such as tea/coffee making facilities, TVs and hairdryers. The hotel will be closing its doors on the 7th December and re-opening on the 1st of March 2008. The Cariston Hotel (sister hotel) will be pleased to welcome our guests. Ayr beach is only but a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There, you will find an indoor swimming pool and loads of activities to suit all the family. You are a 5 minute drive from Ayr's city centre which offers quality bars and restaurants, and with the main shopping centre, you will be able to shop till you drop. Built in 1850 and originally 2 separate houses, the hotel was completely refurbished in 2006 to provide elegant and stylish rooms in keeping with the old building. The Arrandale is currently owned and run by Iain and Linda who pride themselves on taking care of each and every guest, to ensure any stay at the Arrandale is an enjoyable one. The hotel serves a full Scottish breakfast and you can enjoy freshly cooked, local produce including free range eggs from a local farm and locally produced butchers' sausages and bacon.
