| Formerly the Thistle Irvine, the renamed Menzies Irvine is conveniently located in the heart of Ayrshire, on the south west of Scotland. The hotel is easily accessible by all major road and rail links, 6 miles from Glasgow / Prestwick Airport (PIK). Just outside Irvine, this modern hotel has been carefully designed and furbished to a high standard. The hotel also offers a unique lagoon splash pool with waterslide and 9-hole golf course, beer garden, patio and children's play area with fishing around the Irvine River. There are many eating places and bars within walking distance and the beautiful Harbourside area is only 5 minutes away by car. The Magnum Leisure Centre and several popular restaurants can be found next to the beach park and great undercover shopping is available at the nearby mall. Please note that the property is non-smoking. However, there is an enclosed area available at the back of the building for those wishing to smoke.
