| Ideally situated on the level in the heart of Newquay, this 3-star guest house is just a short stroll away from 7 fine sandy beaches and the harbour. Being near the rail and coach stations, it is well situated for day trips to such destinations as Tintagel, Padstow, Eden Project and St.Ives etc. Every effort is made to source locally produced food. A fruit basket is provided at reception and all rooms are tastefully decorated in pastel shades. All rooms contain an en suite shower and toilet, and are complemented with towels, a hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, radio/alarms and a small fridge. The Silver Jubilee, built with local granite as a private house in 1898, was renovated in 1977 to create 7 en suite, self-contained rooms, with a restaurant and bar/lounge on the ground floor. To this day, it is a cosy, family-run establishment, dedicated to guest comfort and well being. Every wish is catered for and every request wherever possible met. | A family run hotel in the heart of Newquay, with outstanding sea views along the north Cornish coast. For comfort, great food and a warm hospitality, we welcome you to the Lynton Hotel. 2 night minimum stay is required. The Lynton Hotel is situated in one of the best positions in Newquay, overlooking the Killacourt, an open grassed area for relaxing, and the unique 'Island' on Towan Beach. This area lends itself to a changing scenic atmosphere, from good sunbathing and beach games for all ages, to the excitement of the high tides, breaking between the Island and Headland. From our windows can be seen the coastline stretching to Trevose Head near Padstow, 12 miles away. Now well established in our hotel, we have refurbished our rooms to standards as approved by the Hotels Association, which are held in high regard. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished, shaver points, and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms are en suite, all have colour television and central heating throughout. The residents lounge has colour television and adjoins a small but cosy bar, creating a pleasurable atmosphere. All guests are provided with keys, allowing freedom to come and go as they please. Parking is limited on the forecourt, but other cars may be parked close by on the Crescent. Please note: we only take weekly bookings from 1st July until September 7th, running from Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks are available early and late season. |  |

| This characterful hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from Newquay’s beach, town centre and train station, making it convenient for walking, surfing or windsurfing breaks. Great Western is an imposing hotel in a magnificent position. All rooms at the hotel have their own en suite bathrooms, and many have large bay windows overlooking the ocean. This enables you to take in the delight that is Newquay beach and it is not unusual to watch surfers from your room. Please note that from November 2007 until the end of February 2008, the hotel is under major refurbishment. Some rooms are open for bookings, but please be aware that only continental breakfast will be available (at extra cost) to have in your room, and none of the hotels facilities will be in use. |  |
