This hotel offers a great location, approximately 15 minutes to town, while there is a regular bus service which passes the hotel or you can call our local taxi services. We can provide a high-chair and travel cot, but please note we have only one of each. The Ravensbury is situated where the World Surfing Championships take place and Newquay’s 18-hole golf links and pitch and putt are just a short walk away.

The Quies Hotel is an informal, friendly, non-smoking, family-run hotel with sea views, close to Newquay town centre. We are the ideal base to explore Newquay and Cornwall, near to surfing beaches, golf courses and fishing lakes with the Eden project 15 miles away. The Quies Hotel has a secure indoor storage area for surfboards, golf clubs, fishing rods etc. Playstation 2 available with games free to use also free to use is a selection of dvds. We are just two minutes walk from town centre and beaches, a three minute walk from the train station and a ten minute drive from Newquay airport. All rooms are en suite or have private bathrooms which have recently been refurbished. Each room has a colour TV/DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and clock radio. You have your own key for access at all times. We can arrange surfing lessons, (they will pick you up, arrange for your wet suit, and drop you back to the hotel) a must experience for a Newquay break. Fishing trips can also be arranged. We accept group and team parties (only with prior notice) except in August.

Only 20 mins from the famous Eden Project. We have 12 well equipped, fully en-suite bedrooms, some with balconies and sea views, others with superb views of Porth Bay Valley. All of our rooms now have DVD players and some have comfortable sofas. The large comfortable breakfast conservatory also becomes a relaxing lounge/TV area, with cards, chess and board games or simply a place to enjoy a drink. There is also a well-stocked bar with a decked terrace overlooking the beach serving many fine beers and spirits and an extensive wine list. Our extensive 'Local Menus' book has become very popular with guests to help in choosing a local Restaurant, Bar, Brasserie or cafe. Or simply a local pub to have a drink and watch the tide go in and out. The rear garden is always available for guests to enjoy either a D.I.Y bar-b-que or simply sunbathing.
