At the end of the day, relax with family and friends in the congenial atmosphere of the lounge and bar, or on a pleasant summer's evening, take in the beautiful surroundings of our patio and gardens. The layout of The Burn How is refreshingly different to most other hotels. In the main house you will find the reception area, The Burn How Restaurant and the residents’ lounge and bar, whereas all of the hotel’s bedrooms are located outside the main building within our private grounds. |  |

Only a minute from the numerous shops, restaurants and pubs of Windermere; a mere 5 minute walk from the railway and coach station; and only a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the beautiful Lake Windermere. Although Cambridge House does not have a car park, parking is available on the road. Please note that the Cambridge House is a guest house. Whilst very high standards are offered, it is important to remember that it is not a hotel. Cambridge House offers home-from-home comfort in service and room sizes. Please note that guests staying for 2 nights or more receive free unlimited use of Parklands Country Club: the leisure facilities indicated as available are at Parklands, with windsurfing and other water-sports available at the lake. Although Cambridge House is in a town centre location, 5-minutes in either direction bring you to heart-stopping beauty and breathtaking views.
