| Rating:
| The Alvia Hotel is located within easy walking distance from central Brighton and the seafront. Also near to the Royal Pavilion and two historical piers. The Alvia Hotel offers visitors a warm welcome in a non-smoking, highly professional hotel. Being so perfectly positioned for all of Brighton's attractions, the Alvia Hotel's off-street car parking facility gives you the freedom to enjoy the city without the stress of driving. Because we do not have 24hours reception the car when is parked has to stay in car park till departing date. The recently refurbished Victorian building is situated in one of the most attractive areas of Brighton, Kemptown, and yet the Alvia Hotel offers a completely up-to-date service with all attendant facilities that the 21st Century traveller has come to expect. Whether it's champagne and chocolates, a workstation with Internet access and bookable guest lounge or simply a breakfast timed to suit your needs, the Alvia Hotel can supply more than mere sleeping accommodation. The recently-bestowed city-status seaside resort has a lively marina and many attractions for both adults and children. The famous Arts Festival in May attracts some of the world's finest performers and artists, but Brighton is bursting with theatrical and musical events all year round. There is always something happening in Brighton that you would not experience anywhere else in the world. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift. No stag, hen or group bookings are accepted. We do not have 24-hour reception; the latest check-in is 21:30. | |

| Rating:
| Elegant, comfortable and stylish hotel rooms combined with intuitive and discreet levels of customer care combine to give you the ultimate in an enhanced stay experience. Visit Britain has awarded us the city's first 5 star grading for guest accommodation and we are also licensed for civil partnerships and weddings. Housed in a Victorian Villa with a hidden walled garden all our en-suite rooms amaze and delight our guests through a combination of traditional features and individual design. There's old-style glamour in the original chequered flooring, high ceilings and ornate chandeliers of this quiet Victorian villa, but recent refurbishment adds a modern twist: contemporary furnishings in rich colours. The work of local artists is showcased here, giving the hotel a distinctive feel. The 11 rooms vary in size and colour, from cosy and functional single rooms to almost palatial four-poster bed deluxe rooms, decorated in regal red. Even the more compact rooms feel uncluttered. Full English breakfast or vegetarian alternatives are taken in a traditional and homely dining room - Radio 2 plays in the background. | |
