A new hotel experience in the heart of London's fashionable and now most famous village - Notting Hill. Financier Benjamin Fry (ex K Bar) has teamed up with London host Orlando Campbell (The Green Room) and project director and designer Giles Baker (Kabaret, Adams 'techno barbers' and Rock) to create a 'new hotel experience' in the heart of London's fashionable and now most famous village - Notting Hill. This 20-room hotel aims to turn the traditional 'bed and breakfast' on its head. The design is inspired by Frank Lloyd-Wright, Mies Van der Rohe (Barcelona Pavilion) and the classic late-60's inside/outside movement. The style will be mid century modern, with a Japanese influence. Giles Baker has worked closely with CA1, the British Design & Manufacturing Company, on the scheme. CA1 are also producing an exclusive range of bespoke furniture, unique to the hotel | |
