We are a short 5 minute stroll from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, ideal for the shopping area and entertainment district, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Blackpool is the perfect base for touring the North West area of England. Liverpool and Manchester are only an hour's drive away, Preston half an hour, the beautiful Lake District an hour and a half. The Canasta Hotel offers tastefully furnished bedrooms. We are proud winners of the Blackpool Tourism Hotel of the Year in 2004 and came 2nd in 2005. Free tea and coffee is served all day to our guests from 09:00 to 21:00. The Canasta has a licensed bar which is open from 11:00 to 23:30 on weekdays and until midnight at weekends. On busier weekends, if there is sufficient demand, there is karaoke on Friday nights from 21:00 to 00:00 (and occasionally on Saturdays).
