| For the past 24 years, Philip & Dee Dee Lomax have been extending a warm welcome to guests at Green Farm. This charming 16th century flint-faced Farmhouse Inn offers antique style bedrooms all with en-suite facilities including some four posters. In the converted dairy ground floor accommodation is ideal for families and guests who find stairs a difficulty. All rooms double and twin some large enough to take an extra bed have en-suite facilities fresh fruit and home-made chocolates to greet you on arrival. Although in a tranquil backwater of North Norfolk, Green Farm is a convenient base from which to dip into Norfolk's delights. Whether you fancy the glorious Norfolk Broads, the sumptuous National Trust Houses of Blickling, Felbrig or the panoramic views and Rhododendrons of Sheringham Park or slightly further a field the Sandringham Estate or the fine historic city of Norwich. For more activity you may wish to try sailing, cycling, bird watching or golf on one of five nearby 18 hole golf courses. Excellent fishing is available in numerous local rivers and ponds. | Elderton Lodge nestles into its own six acres of naturally wooded grounds, beautifully aspected over looking on to 800 acres of Deer park. The 200 year old building, formally the shooting lodge to Gunton Hall is lovingly preserved by its local owners and run as a Country House Hotel offering 11 individual bedrooms and a delightful restaurant. The rooms have full modern facilities, while the restaurant offers high quality local produce. The Hotel is less than 5 miles from the North Norfolk coast line and is perfectly placed as a central point for visiting the whole of the North Norfolk attractions. It gives easy access to the many Broadland villages and their relevant water ways as well as being within easy reach of several National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, the city of Norwich is just 17 miles from the hotel. Norwich being the capital of Norfolk offers everything to the visitor from extensive culture and historic buildings to probably some of the finest shopping facilities in the whole of the Eastern region of England. The Hotel is owned and run by Rachel and Pat both natives of Norfolk and along with their well trained team try always to reflect the local hospitality and comforts that our regular visitors have come to expect, it is equally suitable for corporate clients visiting the local area and especially amenable for short breaks or longer stays for visitors to Norfolk.
