The rooms themselves are individually styled and well equipped for convenience and comfort. Away from the stresses of city and suburban life, all guests have full use of all of the facilities, including a fully licensed bar and restaurant. Whether you choose to unwind in one of the elegant sitting rooms; enjoy a drink on the terrace; or take a stroll through the picturesque garden, Chewton Place is the ideal spot to relax and re-charge. Seven multi-functional conference rooms can offer a tailored solution to any group occasion. Chewton Place is just a short walk outside the small town of Keynsham, which offers convenient local amenities as well as some good restaurants and pubs. Conferences, seminars and meetings can all be exclusively accommodated in the 7 conference rooms. The varying sizes of rooms can ensure a comfortable stay for as few as 8 guests to as many as 120. The hotel is also licensed for weddings, with the hotel's picturesque setting an ideal location for ceremonies or receptions. During December, Chewton Place offers pre booked Christmas party nights. | Our hotel is close to the area's many attractions and is the perfect location for business or pleasure. Ideally situated between Bath and Bristol, the hotel benefits from a wide variety of transport links. The Old Manor House Hotel is an historic 17th century hotel believed to be the oldest dwelling house in Keynsham Village. Built in 1609, the property was formerly the Abbot's house to the ancient abbey, which stood close to where St. John's church now stands. Independent and privately run by the owners, the hotel was completely restored and renovated in 2001 without losing any of its period charm. This attractive listed building has 9 en suite bedrooms and excellent facilities, which reflect the 3-star standard. The hotel is perfect for a romantic, relaxed get away. The warm atmosphere is ideal to sit and relax, chat to friends or colleagues or have a drink and read the highly acclaimed brasserie menu. We have draught beers, an extensive wine list and a Gaggia espresso machine. The Old Manor House Hotel is perfectly placed for those who wish to explore the local attractions in Bath, Bristol, Wells, Glastonbury and Weston-Super Mare.
