It is approximately 3 miles from the medieval village of Dunster with its fairytale castle. The traditional seaside resort of Minehead is 5 miles away by road. The town offers shops, golf, sea-fishing trips, riding stables and an indoor swimming pool. The harbour is pretty and the old part of the town around the church is worth exploring on the way up to North Hill which gives spectacular views of the coast and surrounding hills.

Situated in an attractive Edwardian terrace, only a few minutes walk from both Minehead town centre and seafront. This family-run, non-smoking guest house is proud of its reputation for 'quality, comfort and style...' All rooms have been individually decorated and furnished to a high standard, are centrally heated and include the usual amenities as you would expect from a guest house of this quality. All have their own en suite shower room. Breakfast is served in a spacious dining room, where a varied selection of items are offered, using, wherever possible, local, organic and fairtrade products. A homely lounge provides the ideal place to relax, read a good book and meet other guests. Glendower is not licensed, but guest are welcome to bring their own drinks which can be chilled if required. Glasses can be provided. There is a delightful garden in which to enjoy a sunny day.
